C 25 March to 1 April 2017, in a concert and exhibition hall "The house Naschokina" All-Russian Society for Protection of Monuments of History and Culture, will open the solo exhibition "My City", in "Fragments of Reality" project, artist, member of the Moscow Union of Artists and the Creative Union of artists of Russia, Catherine Popushoy.
The exhibition will feature paintings by the author. The main theme of paintings - urban landscape, industrial motifs. Houses, bridges, courtyards, arches, various architectural variations that build their own spaces of reality, diversity of forms and compositional solutions, interlocking planes and faces contrasts one over the other.
Industrial motives in themselves, make it possible to see the geometric, structural design. They have their faces characteristic compositional rhythm and reading. From the intersection and faces born individual dynamics that can, as disclosed on the part of the composition, and immerse themselves in creating their own space reality.
The project "Fragments of the reality" is the general idea of visualization of the image to the spot and back, through the prism of shapes and objects, in terms of geometry.
Catherine Popushoy is a member of more than one hundred exhibitions in Russia and abroad, reflects in his works the image of modern Russia, its work has been presented in the Russian Federation offices in London, Berlin and Prague. Exhibited in Russia, the UK, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Serbia and China.
